Bryan Tumolo Has Died, Obituary – Cause Of Death

Bryan Tumolo Death – Vehicle Accident: The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department deputies has identified the adult male driver that was pronounced dead after being involved in a ghastly double-vehicle accident which was reported to have occurred in the Town of Putnam Valley on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, as 23-year-old Bryan Tumolo of Mahopac

Police reports according to Sheriff Kevin J. McConville with The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department stated that just at approximately 8:55 pm, on that Tuesday night, Deputies recieved an emergency/distressed notifications about a fatal vehicle accident which may have left at least two person seriously injured in the Putnam Valley neighbourhood.

Upon reaching the scene on Wood St near Meadow Crest Drive, Deputies with the help of The Putnam Valley Fire Department members immediately began extricating and providing medical aid for the occupants of the two vehicles involved. Unfortunately the driver of the first vehicle who was later identified as Bryan Tumolo, 23, of Mahopac, was pronounced deceased right at the scene of the crash after he succumbed to injuries sustained and a blunt force trauma.

Police further reported that the driver of the second vehicle, an 18-year-old Lake Peekskill man, and one of his two passengers, a 17-year-old female Putnam Valley resident, were airlifted to Westchester Medical Center with serious injuries while other passenger, a 15-year-old female from Putnam Valley, was transported by Ambulanz medical ambulance to Westchester Medical Center.

Preliminary investigation indicates that vehicle one was northbound on Wood Street when it crossed over into the path of vehicle two, which was southbound. The New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit assisted Sheriff’s deputies and Investigators at the scene with the investigation. Members of the Carmel Police Department also assisted at the scene. Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to call Sheriff’s Investigators at (845) 225-8060.
