Billy genuinely cherished everything related to agriculture and delighted in supporting his neighborhood in every manner he could. He also graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Resource Economics. He was a huge fan of basketball and football and was ecstatic whenever the UT Vols triumphed in a match. He joined the Church of Christ at Nunnelly and later the Church of Christ in Centerville, where he led prayers, went to Sunday school and engaged in fellowship whenever he got the chance.
