Eden Prairie High School – In order to allow authorities to investigate a possible threat that a student may have received on Friday afternoon, Eden Prairie High School is currently under lockdown. Around 12:45 p.m., police received a report that a kid may have received a threat, so they put the school on lockdown. The Eden Prairie Police Department tweeted that officers are looking into the threat’s veracity.

Classes will go on as usual, according to a note the school gave to kids that Trending innovative was able to receive. However, until the lockdown is lifted, pupils won’t be permitted to enter or leave the school. According to the message, a student had received an anonymous threat, so out of “an abundance of caution,” the school was placed on a stay-put lockdown.

“Our school resource officers from the Eden Prairie Police Department are on the scene and looking into the threat’s origin. Students are receiving assistance from staff, and the building is safe. The Eden Prairie High School administrator, Nate Gibbs, sent out a note saying, “Please know there have been similar threats around the state and country recently that all turned out to be hoaxes, and this threat follows a similar pattern.
