Hillsboro Shooting –  According to reports from the Hillsboro police department, on Tuesday afternoon a man was shot and injured in Washington County. At 3:30 in the afternoon, authorities reportedly responded to the neighborhood of Northeast 106th Avenue between Evergreen Parkway and Cornell Road after receiving reports of gunfire in that location. Officers are said to have detained three male suspects at the site, and then discovered a fourth suspect, whom they also detained after discovering him.

According to reports, the victim of the shooting had a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his shoulder and was transported to Legacy Emanuel Hospital for treatment. The inquiry into the case is not yet complete. According to the police, they have not yet been able to identify a motive or any other elements that may have contributed to the crime.

In order for officials to investigate and clean the location of the incident, Northeast 106th Avenue will be closed between Evergreen Parkway and Cornell Road until about 8:30 p.m.
