Shooting Chapel Hill – Police from Chapel Hill respond to shots fired at the University Gardens Apartments

Shooting Chapel Hill –  Reports of multiple gunshots being fired at an apartment complex on Tuesday evening have prompted an investigation by the Chapel Hill Police Department. At approximately 6:30 o’clock in the evening, a police representative verified to Chapelboro that officers were actively responding to the University Gardens residences located along Pritchard Avenue Extension. During the time that law enforcement was responding to the incident, the road was closed.

There is evidence that multiple persons were hurt, according to the radio transmission that was transmitted by the attending emergency service vehicles. At 6:49 p.m., all of the casualties were removed from the scene, and the police continued their investigation of the tragedy.
