True Crime published 6 original/genuine Polaroid photos found by police in Jeffrey Dahmer’s dresser drawer. These photos/images show his victims in various posthumous poses. The images can be found in an article in the magazine titled “A Graphic Look Inside.” Likewise, some Reddit users wondered what happened after Jeffrey’s arrest.

Ever since the release of DAHMER – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story Netflix’s fictional adaptation of Jeffrey Dahmer’s infamous murder, people have been anxiously searching the internet for the true story of the victim and Dahmer’s family. The notorious serial killer preyed on Black, Hispanic and Asian men in public from 1978 to 1991, killing and dismembering them at his Milwaukee home after the crime.

The Crime Museum notes that Jeffrey Dahmer’s gruesome murders included r*pe, dismemberment, necrophilia and cannibalism. Although his horrific atrocities went unnoticed for more than a decade, the Polaroids eventually helped authorities arrest him.

Polaroids are too much for the average person, so most news magazines don’t really publish them. However, an unverified website called True Crime Magazine posted some images on their website. Meanwhile, some Reddit users don’t want to see the photo, but want to know what’s really in the Polaroid photo. Well, we’ve got you covered.

Of the 84 photos found in Jeffrey Dahmer’s dresser drawer, True Crime magazine released only six Polaroids. It is unclear how the magazine obtained the images, but the photos are too violent and disturbing. Click here if you want to see them.

After returning the victims to his apartment, Dahmer harassed them by giving them medicated drinks after they died. In addition, he dismembered their bodies and kept souvenirs such as organs, genitals and other body parts. According to the biography, he often took pictures of his victims at various stages of a murder trial in order to recall each act and relive the experience later.

According to a 1994 article in the American Journal of Forensic Medicine and Pathology, Dahmer was often lonely and wished to have memories with him. During the investigation, police also uncovered drawings showing the serial killer intended to use the images, painted skeletons and skulls, to set up an altar in his home, according to ELLE Australia.

Dahmer’s last victim, Tracey Edwards, escaped from his home on July 22, 1991, and survived to tell the story. According to ABC News, Tracy helped Milwaukee police find 84 Polaroid photos in a nightstand drawer. This ended Dahmer’s murderous cannibalism. According to ELLE Australia, the graphic images show Dahmer engaging in necrophilia and the corpse of his victim hunched over in a provocative pose. When Officer Rolf Mueller told his partner, he was reportedly in disbelief.

Jeffrey Dahmer was sentenced to 16 life sentences for the crime. The Crime Museum estimates Dahmer was sentenced to a total of 957 years in prison. Dahmer was initially held in solitary confinement at Columbia Correctional Facility in Wisconsin to protect himself. A year later, he moved to a less secure apartment with his consent. In May 1994, Dahmer was baptized as a born again Christian. He also participates in weekly meetings with the clergy.

When Dahmer’s case went to court in early 1992, he pleaded guilty to 15 counts of murder in Wisconsin and 16 in Ohio. In any case, without the chance of parole, Dahmer will remain behind bars for the rest of his life.
